"I feel like I was scammed by Dimitri from this office. And if I could, I would leave 0 stars or less. He kept calling me about getting insurance. I asked about renters insurance and coverage for my car and my partner’s car. To make a long story short, I made the down payment, and when my partner went to call his lien holder to give them a copy of the insurance policy, they asked for the Declaration’s Page. When we sent it over, they said they couldn’t use it because it was listed that I was like the car was in my name. When I actually paid attention to the Declaration’s page, it had my father, who has been with State Farm for decades, but he doesn’t live with me, and they had my sister listed as drivers in my home. She doesn’t live with me either, neither did we discuss either of them to be added on the policy. Did call and speak to an after hours rep, and they were supposedly to have added my partner on the policy. Called and spoke to a young lady in the office this past Monday, I told her that I was so upset about how Dimitri did the policy, until I was ready to cancel and get my money back. She told me no, and just allow her a chance to fix it. I heard nothing back for 2 days, so I called.. she said that it was given to the underwriter to redo, and they would call me back. I asked her did we still have coverage for the cars because I only saw coverage in the app for renter’s insurance. She told me yes we still had coverage for the cars. I had an issue with my car yesterday, and tried to call for roadside assistance which was in the policy, only to be told that I didn’t have coverage. I called the after hours service, was told that there were no notes in my file to support what was saying, I didn’t have coverage, and it had been submitted from underwriting to cancel my policy on the upcoming 19th. No one said anything to me. And the rep Alexis said that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund of any kind if I waited until the 19th. That wasn’t worth a phone call? Couldn’t find any documentation to support that I had received coverage from this State Farm in the app. Thankfully , I had downloaded the forms to show that yes I did have my family on the policy although I never asked for that, and I have a copy of them adding my partner on as a driver in the household. I am very upset and offended how this office has handled me. I’m not saying this is how they do everyone, because I have read good reviews about Monica…. But my experience with her reps has been less than welcoming, and I regret that I accepted the offer from Dimitri. He dealt dishonestly with me. And the lack of communication with cancelling the insurance policy has really bothered me."
